Maria’s love for everything sweet inspired her to take a chance at baking. She grew up savoring the flavors of two cultures and two countries, the Dominican Republic and the United States (NYC).

Maria received her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University in Washington, DC where she carried out a successful international career.

Motherhood came along for Maria and this was the beginning of her baking career. She began experimenting with cakes, cupcakes and other desserts, drawing from both cultures.

Luckily her husband and children are willing participants and are among her most prominent taste testers and critics.

Throughout the years, Maria has honed her baking skills and is now ready to venture into the gourmet cupcake world!
