Night Moves...
After a day of various household responsibilities, I had
a chance to get out. On the way out the door I made a portrait of Cupcake
("Cuppy")
Ted had Boy Scouts and I decided that I'd drop him off
and go shooting. The moon was full and there had to be something I could
juxtapose with it and make a nice moonlit scene? Sure enough, I found
something that might work - the steel bridge at Cheat Narrows. I backed
the car into the little road that provides shore access to residents and got my
gear out.
First I made some images of the moon. This one was
a test of my 1:8.0/800mm. Seems to work OK...
Then I made some images of Lakeside Resort on the other
side of the river.
Finally, I made a few images of the bridge itself,
making sure to duck behind the guard rail whenever a car came along...
