I had a few hours this afternoon and noted that this cache was very close to home. It also contained a Jeep Travel Bug. Since I had a Jeep Travel bug to move on I decided this was a perfect opportunity to take care of it.
I found the parking without any problem. I had driven past this place before but did not notice it. Thanks for calling it to my attention!

This was a nice walk on a new (for me) trail. I brought a new lens along to make some images, and did so as I walked along the edge of the reservoir to the cache area. The trail splits early on and I elected to take the right branch knowing it circles the basin and returns to the same point.
When I arrived at the cache location, I realized I had forgotten the Jeep Travel Bug I wanted to pass along, so I hiked back to the Jeep and got it... I met a woman out for a walk. Then I returned to the cache.
I took the Jeep Travel Bug that was in the cache and put the one I had in its place. I also left a strip of Nemo stickers and took the little orange penlight.
On my way out I met four young folks who were out to seek some peace and quiet - they chose a great spot for it!
Driving home I spotted some retaining wall that I might use on my back yard and took a few photos.
