4x4 Icon - Sand Springs 4/2/05

Prologue

The kids and I were pretty restless and wanted something to do. I recalled the trip we made to Sand Spring in January and decided to head out there again. It was just a little quickie trip. We didn't even take very many pictures.

Muster

We drove out to the location on instruments.

Trail

Once we crossed the little bridge we made our way up the little hill and down the trail to Wonder Falls, the spot we'd stopped the last time we came this way. I let the kids run around for a while and then we turned around and came back. The big excitement for the day was coming down the little hill. I let Ted make a few images.

Epilogue

After we crossed the ice-covered bridge wondering of the 3-Ton load limit took into account the 10-tons of ice that was on the bridge, we headed to Sandy's Restaurant for a little snack and then home! Just a quickie!
