A few days earlier, I received and installed my soft top disconnect kit.   Finally the weekend came, and brought with it some mild dry weather.  After spending the morning in the house doing chores, I got outside and set about swapping the hard and soft tops.

It went well.  First I got the hoist squared away, then used it to remove the rack.  I set the rack aside then took the six bolts and electrical connection apart on the hard top.  Finally, I tied the hard top to the hoist and raised it up and off the Jeep.  I drove the Jeep outside and installed the soft top.  The new disconnects made the job a trifle easier.  I washed the top before installing the rack.  By the time I was done, it was almost dark, but not too dark for a couple record shots...
