Please note: These instructions came with my rack in 2000. Since that time the rack, the parts supplied, the Jeep Wrangler TJ, or some combination of these times may have changed. Most of the assembly instructions will not cause irreversible damage if found to be incorrect. The only exception to this is the drilling of holes in the Jeep Wrangler body. Once drilled, they cannot be "undrilled".

These instructions are supplied as a helpful gesture, but you follow them at your own risk. I found them to be correct and worked properly for my 1999 Jeep Wrangler Sport 4.0L, 5 speed, with an undamaged, black tub. Your results may vary...
